Art-Rock Legends Roxy Music Releasing Huge Box Set

They haven’t been in the news much since they closed out the last episode of Jonathan Ross’ BBC show, but Roxy Music are going to be back in 2012, at least in the reissue world. 2012 is their 40th anniversary as a band (and as a launching pad for Brian Eno and Bryan Ferry), so it’s as good a time as any for Virgin to put out the huge Roxy Music box set. Roxy Music: The Complete Studio Recordings 1972-1982 is due out on April 2, and it features eight CDs and four DVDs. It includes the eight Roxy Music LPs (from 1972’s self-titled debut up to 1982’s huge Avalon), along with high-resolution versions of the album on DVD. In addition, the set will feature a bunch of rarities and remixes. [Via P4K]
