‘Arrested Development’ Will Star One Of The Three Stooges (Kind Of)

Even the smallest scoop about the upcoming fourth season of Arrested Development is a treat these days. The reunion season, which is currently filming and will premiere next year on Netflix, keeps adding new guest stars and plot points, making fans giddier by the day. The latest name attached to the sitcom is one of the Three Stooges himself. Well, kind of.

Chris Diamantopoulos played Moe (pictured, middle) in the recent Farrelly Brothers update of The Three Stooges. According to The Wrap, the actor will have a multi-episode arc on Arrested Development. The actor’s other credits include the NBC sitcom Up All Night and the upcoming movie Empire State, co-starring Liam Hemsworth.

Arrested Development has already announced that big names like Henry Winkler will appear on the show’s new season. The Happy Days star will reprise his funny role on the series. John Slattery of Mad Men, who’s proven his comedic chops as a guest star on shows like 30 Rock, will make an appearance, too, as well as Isla Fisher, Terry Crews and Adam DeVine.

Plus, Netflix is running a contest giving fans the chance to win a walk-on role in the new season. Six lucky fans will win a part.
