No, Ariel Pink didn't break up Haunted Graffiti a few weeks ago. That was probably a publicity stunt to get us all interested in his forthcoming album Mature Themes, out August 21 on 4AD.
Of course, any Ariel Pink artwork will get us interested, as it tends to be batty, though fitting with the title, Mature Themes' cover is pretty understated and, well, pretty. Talking with Spin, Pink revealed that this is "the record I wanted to make back when I made Before Today, but couldn't due to pressures and different factors. We had time to let our hair down and try new things."
The group also has a big tour planned for the next few months, so check out dates along with the Mature Themes tracklist below.
