Arctic Monkeys To Head Back Into Studio After Tour

Following a tour that concludes in Guadalajara, Mexico, on April 22, the Arctic Monkeys plan to head into the studio to get working on their fourth album. On the status of the new songs, typically eloquent frontman Alex Turner gave NME this awkward metaphor: "There's a few things we've been playing around together, and we've spoke about how we might go about it. We haven't started walking yet; the laces are undone, never mind dancing."

The Monkeys are currently touring behind last year's Humbug, which was produced by Josh Homme, frontman of Queens of the Stone Age and Them Crooked Vultures. It is uncertain whether Homme will be on board for the new material, but drummer Matt Helders said that both parties have expressed interest in working together again. In the meantime, you can catch them on tour starting April 1 in Miami. [Spinner]
