My theory on how the video for "Brianstorm" came to be*:
Some band member: Hey, for our next video, let's have it cut back and forth between us playing and a bunch of girls dancing in front of these trippy backdrops.
Some other band member: I dunno man, that's pretty basic, no? We're totally the most important band in the world right now, we should aim higher or something...
First band member: Well, uh, what if we put in a bunch of rad random images scattered throughout the video?
Entire band in unison: Yeah! That'd be awesome! You're a genius man!
* Substitute the dated North American vernacular with some contemporary British colloquialisms. I couldn't be bothered.
