Arctic Monkeys "Brianstorm"

As much as I don't want to, I have to admit I'm liking this new Arctic Monkeys track. The BBC's Zane Lowe premiered "Brianstorm," the first track off the forthcoming Favourite Worst Nightmare, and liked it so much he played it twice. Here's a radio rip of that broadcast. The quality isn't the greatest, but you get the general feel of the song. Lowe pretty much nailed it when he called the track "ferocious." These guys are pretty much the anti Bloc Party at this point.

[...] On two utterly unrelated fronts, a radio rip from the debut of the new Arctic Monkeys track “Brainstorm”–which is the first single from their forthcoming sophomore album Favourite Worst Nightmare–has popped up online via Prefix. The track is pretty stellar, and I recommend you check it out. [...]

[...] Via: Idolator Awhile back, we streamed a radio rip version of the forthcoming Arctic Monkeys single, “Brianstorm.” Well Idolator now has a proper mp3 of the track available for all your downloading needs. As I said in the previous post, the song’s pretty infectious. Not in a “these guys are better than the Beatles” kind of way the NME would have you believe, but in a “hey these guys are better than Bloc Party” kind of way. Enjoy.            [...]
