Arcade Fire's "Wake Up" Used in Where the Wild Things Are Trailer (Video)

The official trailer for the Dave Eggers-penned, Spike Jonze-directed film adaptation of Maurice Sendak's Where the Wild Things Are has hit the net, and as promised , and Arcade Fire's "Wake Up" is the (very well-chosen) music underneath the stunning-looking visuals. The film has been pushed back a lot (it's slated for a fall release now) to do re-shoots because the original version was deemed "too dark," but given the stuff in the preview, this is looking like it could be pretty great.

I didn't like the idea of the book being adapted into a film, but it is Spike Jonze. The trailer was pretty great too. I'm excited to see this now.

Judging from the posters, and this trailer Im loving the art direction they took... looks amazing.

The combo of the Arcade Fire and my own childhood fondness for that book = that trailer bringing tears to my eyes.
