Arcade Fire To Play 'The Daily Show'
The publicity machine for Arcade Fire's upcoming third album, The Suburbs, is starting to fire up, namely in that the band have announced that they have been booked on the Daily Show on August 12. The Daily Show typically only has the biggest of the big indie bands around on the show, and the Arcade Fire obviously fit that bill. The performance will be a week after The Suburbs is released, so expect a performance on at least Letterman before Win Butler and company see Jon Stewart. [P4K]
