These probably won't last long, so enjoy them while you can. In case you happen to have a life and went out Saturday night, here are the videos of Arcade Fire performing on SNL. The guitar smashing at the end of "Intervention" seemed a bit much, but otherwise the band did okay. "Intervention": "Keep the Car Running": Also, Gothamist found this little piece of unaired footage
great stuff. this might be the best snl performance ive ever seen. here is how old i am -- i stayed home to watch this live, but fell asleep at 11:30. sad times for ole' acb

i agree that the guitar smashing was totally unneccessary. what's the point? although i admit thought it was cool when nirvana did it... 15 years ago.

Me thinks this was awesome. How was the rest of SNL? Was Dwight Schrute on point? I have it DVR'd at home so I guess I'll find out unless you guys tell me it's not worth it.
The guitar smash was cheesy; performance not bad, though. Except for a couple of skits (didn't care for the peeping tom one in particular), the rest was actually decent. I dug the one about the Swedish couple's furniture.
