The Arcade Fire, who are typically leery of lending their songs to anything but prestigious films (and Benjamin Button), have announced that they've licensed "Wake Up" to the NFL for use in this weekend's Super Bowl. It's not your typical license for dollars deal though; the band will be donating all of the money they receive from the NFL to Partner in Health's Haitian relief efforts. It's a good choice by both parties.
The Super Bowl airs this Sunday, but it was taped a month ago. Saints by seven. Take the over on the combined spread. [Spinner]
Any excuse to listen to this song is fine by me.
