Yay North America! Two of indie rock's biggest water-cooler acts, Arcade Fire and LCD Soundsystem, will issue a limited edition, split seven-inch of covers to coincide with their upcoming U.S. tour. LCD Soundsystem covers Joy Division's acerbic "No Love Lost" (in case fans didn't get that James Murphy "is, like, really, really into Ian Curtis right now") and Arcade Fire does a version of Serge Gainsbourg's "Poupee de Cire, Poupee de Son" (because we all know the band is a bunch of no-goodnik, wafer-eatin' Frenchies). The seven-inch will be made available on the tour as well as on the bands' respective websites (click here and here). For the complete tour schedule, click here.
