Arcade Fire Set To Play Oxegen Music Festival

Arcade Fire announced that its first show of the new decade will be at the Oxegen Music Festival at Punchestown Racecourse, Ireland. The band will join Eminem, Jay-Z, the Black Eyed Peas, Vampire Weekend and Hot Chip, among others. The carbon-neutral festival, sponsored by Heineken, is scheduled for July 9-11. Tickets go on sale Friday (March 12) at 8 a.m., and prices start at €99.50 (currently about $135.60) for a single-day pass. And it's official: It's time to start thinking about festival season.
