Apples in Stereo to tour

Robert Schneider is a fun guy. Did you see that happy little ditty he did in praise of Stephen Colbert on the Report? Fun.
So, much fun should be had as Schneider hauls out his fellow Apples in Stereo to tour in support of New Magnetic Wonder, due out February 7 on Simian Records, Elijah Wood's personal arm of Yep Roc. Backing Schneider in this incarnation of the band will be longtime Elephant 6 buddy Bill Doss, of Olivia Tremor Control/Sunshine Fixx fame, as well as Deathray Davies's John Dufilho and Ulysses's John Ferguson.

YES!!! As powerful an antidepressant as anything the pharmaceutical companies can produce...no, scratch that....MORE powerful! Seriously, it might be the best thing they've ever done. I say if this is the product of no new Apples record for five years...let's wait another five years after this one, too. Warning: LOTS of vocoder on the record.

yes...i don't want to get you all to excited but it is amazing!...perhaps his best...the doss/OTC influnce is heavy and is is a whirlwind of psyc/pop blissmabye early leader for 2007 best albums
