Apple Trying To Prevent Those Assholes Who Shoot Concerts From Filming With Their iPhone

It’s something that has become as ubiquitous at shows as people complaining about the sound: The blue wave of iPhones as people try to capture concerts in all their blown-out, low quality glory. But Apple is trying to help concert promoters keep that riff raff out of their shows: Apple is developing a device that can be set up onstage at shows that will send a message to users iPhones, and prevent them from filming shows. Apple applied for the patent for the technology 18 months ago, and it could be ready to go soon. This is some Big Brother shit, but I’d be all for this. [The Sun]
