Apple takes over Christmas

Zune what? Ninja please. And so on. Apple's music offerings, between the new iPods and all the gift cards given out, were so popular that the iTunes servers were crippled on Christmas, spewing out error messages and forcing people to wait half an hour or more for downloads. Traffic was reported to be about four times the normal amount.
By all accounts, the holidays have done nothing to shake Apple's grip on the industry. With MacWorld next week and the possible announcement of their long awaited phone, it was a very white iPod Christmas indeed and winter ain't letting up. As for me, I'm happy with my iPod with video / SanDisk flash player combo, and just glad I don't work tech for Apple - if I had to deal with crashing servers and James Brown's death on Christmas I probably would have just hung myself with a string of lights.

I wanted Nano with the iPod running kit for X-mas, but didn't find one under the tree. It's not to late loyal Prefix readers. I'm also gladly accepting a Nintendo Wii as a late X-mas gift. Even an iPod Shuffle would be great. Thanks in advance!
