Now that Apple has expanded into the realm of mobile phones, current plans are being made to give iPhone users a greater variety of music ringtones. The upgrade said to launch in June will include downloadable song clips and ringback tones. While the current 99-cents charge in addition to the regular 99-cent iTunes tracks may already seem unnecessary, music labels are negotiating for more price increases. The change in price tag won't effect the plans next month, however, so stock up before the labels get their way. [NY Times]
