Are you a musician who can’t afford an iPad but own an iPhone or iPod Touch and want to record music/rough song ideas on the go? Well, you’re in luck, because Apple has updated its GarageBand software so that it’s fully compatible on both mobile devices. This comes after the company brought the recording program to the iPad this past March. But Apple must have realized that some songwriters just don’t have the cash to cop an iPad. It’ll be interesting to see if this will increase the output of musicians or if office workers will just have another means of wasting time at their desks.
