AOL Radio Posts the Top Ten Worst Album Covers of the Year

Sometimes a band has got it all: great music, smart lyrics and clever onstage banter. But sometimes, those bands miss a step. This is the story of album art gone wrong.

AOL's Radio blog recently compiled a list of the 10 Worst Album Covers of 2009 (So Far), and they aren't forgiving. Among the victims are indie electro-pop outfit Empire of the Sun's Walking on a Dream with its half anime, half cartoony Blade Runner album art. Also on the list is Ciara's artwork for Fantasy Ride, which depicts Ciara as some kind of a slutty humanoid superhero/vixen with purple flames snaking around her breasts and neck.
