Afrobeat revivalists Antibalas (Spanish for bullet-proof) have added three new dates in promotion of their Anti- Records debut (their fourth proper) Security. If you haven't seen Antibalas live, imagine Nigeria, circa 1960, when Fela Kuti and company were churning out masterpieces like Expensive Shit and He Like Road, but with a Bushwick, Brooklyn edge. These twelve performers will have you dancing like drunken, giddy fools as they play songs from their latest album, Security, which Rolling Stone described as, "big-time party music, plain and simple."
