Anti- signs Antibalas

Last week Anti- announced the signing of The Book of Knots. This week the label continued its signing spree by adding Brooklyn Afrobeat group Antibalas ("Bulletproof" in Spanish) to its already eclectic roster (Tom Waits, Blackalicious, Ramblin' Jack, Neko Case, etc). Antibalas just finished up recording with John McEntire of Tortoise. The album is scheduled to be released in March 2007.
