Via BillboardRy Cooder's follow-up to last year's Chavez Ravine will arrive on March 6th. To be released on Nonesuch, the album will be called My Name is Buddy. It will tell the tales of Buddy Red Cat, a globetrotting feline. Not making that up at all, no way. Van Dyke Parks, currently garnering accolades for his work on Joanna Newsome's Ys, contributed to the album, as did Mike and Pete Seeger.
