The Saturday Night Live stage will be inhabited by a couple of acclaimed actors this November. Oscar nominees Anne Hathaway and Jeremy Renner will host the late-night NBC comedy show next month.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Anne Hathaway will make her third appearance on the show on Nov. 10 to promote her part in Tom Hooper's adaptation of the musical Les Miserables. Anyone else smell a musical monologue? The actual musical guest will be Rihanna, who will be promoting her new album Unapologetic.
The award-nominated hosts won't end with Hathaway, however. The next weekend, Nov. 17, Jeremy Renner will host, promoting both The Bourne Legacy DVD release and Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters. Maroon 5 will provide the musical performances.
Anne Hathaway has proven herself to be a strong host in the past (See her hilarious Katie Holmes impression below), and she's shown herself to be quite a ham in interviews, so her appearance sounds promising. However, whenever a star hosts for the first time, there's some trepidation, so hopefully Jeremy Renner can ease audiences' uncertainty when he takes the stage.
You don't have to wait until Hathaway's hosting gig for a new episode, however. It was just announced that this week's show, with host Louis C.K. and musical guest fun., will go live despite Hurricane Sandy.
