Animal Collective To Curate All Tomorrow's Parties
The All Tomorrow's Parties festival has been curated by an impressive bunch -- everyone from Melvins to My Bloody Valentine to Jim Jarmusch. Now we can add Animal Collective to the list. This year's spring ATP showcase is scheduled for May 13-15, at Butlins Holiday Centre in Minehead, England. As curators -- an honor that can fairly be perceived as yet another victory lap for 2009's opusMerriweather Post Pavilion -- Animal Collective will look to bring a ton of other like-minded performers. So far the bill includes Ariel Pink, Broadcast, and label-buddies Prince Rama, along with other all-time greats like Meat Puppets (performing their classic, Up on the Sun) and Lee "Scratch Perry.
