Smucker up, boys and girls, because Animal Collective's new album just got a name. It's Strawberry Jam. Mmm, tasty. I don't think you're ready for that jelly. The album is slated for release in September via Domino. The album found Avey Tare and Panda Bear crafting songs in New York and Lisbon and then bringing those pieces together for full band work with Geologist and Deacon. The band then took those tracks to The Wavelab in Tucson, Arizona for work with The Wizard Scott Colburn. I love these dudes' names. I could just type them all day.
I wonder if pandas actually eat strawberry jam. I wonder if I can fit more fruit-based jelly substance plays-on-words in here. Strawberry Jam forever! Cranberry sauce!
