Animal Collective Live Box Deets Via eBay

So what the hell? Everybody else is at SXSW leaving us to watch reruns of The Wire and mind the store like the Maytag repairman? Well, there's actually some honest-to-god Animal Collective news (for the first time in nearly three days!) to report, so how you like us now, Austin? Anyhow, turns out the rumors you've been hearing about an Animal Collective live box set are true, and Animal Crack Box is coming at an unspecified date from the Catsup Plate label. How do we know? Tweets from Panda Bear? An email from the AC publicist, perhaps? Nope, try eBay. As it happens, Catsup Plate decided to put the box set test pressing up for charity auction to benefit Doctors Without Borders. "Sure, up with altruism," we hear you cry impatiently, "now what about the release details?" Well settle down, brocephus, the track listing is down below (see auction for sources), and the set contains three LPs of live recordings captured on MiniDisc at various locations in the first three years of the band's career. The label figured they'd take the opportunity to let the test pressing raise some bucks for a good cause, and the last time we checked, the bid was up over $1,300, so if you're feeling flush, take a shot.
