Animal Collective Film 'Oddsac' Showing at Sundance 2010

As early as Sung Tongs, Animal Collective made mention of a longer audio/visual project in collaboration with Danny Perez, director of the "Who Could Win a Rabbit" video. Apparently that has come to fruition. Oddsac, by Perez and Animal Collective, was listed Thursday as the films playing out of competition at the Sundance Music Festival. The fest takes place in Park City, Salt Lake City, and Ogden, Utah, Jan. 21-31.

Sundance describes Oddsac as "An earthy, psychedelic experimental narrative infused with the band Animal Collective's aural and musical sensibilities." Does this mean we can reasonably expect that this will be better than Christmas on Mars? [Oddsac on Twitter]
