Animal Collective's EP Fall Be Kind is coming out Nov. 9, six days before the start of the Canadian seal hunting season. Fittingly, PETA has recruited the band to oppose the practice in this video ad.

"Really, I think you can create all kinds of textures with all kinds of fabrics," says Panda Bear, arguing against the need for seal skins. He is wearing an extremely cute wolf and eagle sweatshirt from the 90's. 

"I scuba dive," says Brian Weitz ("Geologist"), "So I like marine animals a lot."

Writes Hipster Runnoff of the ad, "I feel like ‘lending ur brand’ to a PETA campaign seems like u have ‘made it.’ Like if Pitchfork had some sort of ‘humanitarian ratings’, this would probably be around a 9.6."
