Animal Collective Debut New Songs In California (Video)
Animal Collective are currently in California, where they are playing a few shows prior to their appearance at Coachella this weekend. Judging from these clips it’s clear that they’re using this opportunity to test out some new material—the show at the Phoenix Theater in Petaluma reportedly featured up to nine previously unheard songs. These clips were just shot on a phone and aren’t the best quality, but the audio isn’t bad, and it showcases some new Avey Tare tracks, which he mostly delivers while sat at a keyboard, and a couple of Panda Bear songs.
