As of now, the four-track People EP is only available at stops on Animal Collective's current Australia/New Zealand tour, although Amazon does have the disc available for pre-order, so don't fall into the eBay trap. The EP features three previously unreleased songs from the Feels sessions as well as a live version of the title track.
"People" begins with shimmering guitars and the same airy, magical aura that much of Feels had. The sonic pixie dust doesn't last, of course; when Avey Tare chimes in with his banshee wail it sounds like the end of the world. This probably should have made the album.
