British actor Andy Nyman has joined the cast of Kick-Ass 2. The sequel is set to begin shooting in a few weeks and Nyman confirmed the news on his official web site. Nyman will be playing the part of “The Tumour,” a member of a super villain team headed by the Red Mist (Christopher Mintz-Plasse).
Nyman previously appeared in the films Death at a Funeral and Severance. He will be joining a cast which includes the Aaron Johnson, Chloe Moretz, John Leguizamo and Lindy Booth. Never Back Down director Jeff Wadlow will be taking the helm of the sequel from a screenplay written by original Kick-Ass writer/director Matthew Vaughn.
