Andrew Bird Daytrotter Session

Midwesterner Andrew Bird flew into Daytrotter's Midwest headquarters back in September to record a signature Session for the website. Bird brought in his pals in the band Dianogah (who he's helping craft a new album, which should arrive early next year via Southern Records). Bird and the band put in two songs from Bird's beautiful album from earlier this year, Armchair Apocrypha: "Fiery Crash" and "Plasticities." They also perform an older Bird cut, "Lull," the Dianogah tune "A Breaks B," and the Handsome Family-penned song "The Giant of Illinois." Listen to all the lush prettiness here.
