According to Pitchfork, Andrew Bird is working on a slew of new material. Hopefully all his studio time will manifest itself into a follow-up to 2009's very good Noble Beast. But until those details surface, you will just have to pine over the fact that Bird's booked a scattered touring schedule that features a few dates in both June and August. He has more concerts lined up for October, which mostly feature frequent touring partner Dosh as the opener.
