Andre Young Jr., son of Dr. Dre dead at 20

According to reports, Andre Young Jr., the 20-year old son of Dr. Dre was found dead on August 23, 2008 in his Woodland Hills home. Numerous sites have listed the  The Los Angeles Times as the originating source of the news.

 

Internet sites are reporting that Young was out on Friday night and came back around 5:30 A.M., but his mother found him to be unresponsive at 10 A.M. and then called 911. 

 

At this time the cause of death is unknown and Dr. Dre has not released an official statement. [AllHipHop]

While this news has been posted on numerous sites at this point, I have yet to see a link to the LA Times article.

for people on here talkn reckless. dre was my neighbor. i was fiends w. andre jr and tyler (his younger son). i would be at his house all the time and my mom was friends w. his wife. so i can speak up on this situation.

#1 thats not dre's pic up there, thats curtis his older son

#2 andre jr. did not live w. his dad. andre sr. is married to a woman named nicole and has 3 kids w. her. tyler, truce, and truly. andre jr. lived w. his mom in woodland hills

#3 i know how andre died and soon the coroners will reveal it to. but he wasnt murdered, no other person is responsible for his death

It was very unfortunate. Andre Junior is my next door neighbor. I had just spoken to him the day before and was shocked when I heard paramedics at his house in the morning. Its very shocking because he was perfectly fine laughing and joking around. It is very sad.
