All you Smashing Pumpkins fans who attack the comment threads when jokes are made re: Smashing Pumpkins being essentially a Billy Corgan solo project, you now have nothing to grouse about: long-time Pumpkins drummer Jimmy Chamberlin, aka the only original Smashing Pumpkin besides Billy to still be around, has announced he is leaving the band. Corgan has announced he'll continue to use the Smashing Pumpkins name in the future (since no one wants another Zwan album) and is planning on cutting another album this Spring. Yeah, because everyone loved
