NME has explanations as to why Ms. Winehouse was a no show at two gigs in London earlier in March. One guess as to which addictive substance was involved. Did you guess "alcohol?" YOU WIN! Winehouse claims a drunken stumble chipped one of her teeth. Classy girl. She's rescheduled those shows in London for April. The piece mentions but doesn't give any reasons for Winehouse's subsequent no-show in L.A. last week.
Contact Music has an odd little snippet of Winehouse discussing fellow young lush Lindsay Lohan. Not surprisingly, Winehouse says she sympathizes with Lohan's hard-partying ways, and wants to tell her nothing is wrong with the bad girl image she's cultivated. Hmmm...a new season of The Simple Life?
