It appears that Birmingham marked the latest stop on Amy Winehouse's free-fall career last night, as the singer kicked-off her first UK dates since canceling a slew of summer shows.
According to Gigwise, Winehouse attempted to stifle the booing present throughout her set by threatening, "To them people booing, wait 'til my husband gets out of incarceration. And I mean that."
You might remember (and how could you forget?) that said husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, is currently awaiting trial for allegedly beating a bartender within an inch of his life and then trying to bribe him to change his story.
The BBC reports that Winehouse ended her set by dropping the microphone and walking off stage during a cover of The Zutons' "Valerie," but not before dedicating her own song, "Wake Up Alone," to Fielder-Civil.
