Amy Winehouse has emphysemia according to an interview with her father in The Sunday Mirror. In addition, her father said that his daughter could also be forced to wear an oxygen mask and sit in a wheelchair, if she does not stop smoking crack cocaine.
Mitch Winehouse stated:
"To think this could be my beautiful 24-year-old daughter's life is preposterous. But if drugs mean more to her than breathing properly, then so be it. But the doctors have told her if she goes back to smoking drugs it won't just ruin her voice, it will kill her. It's been a tough week."

It is not so long ago that those of us in Camden knew Amy Whitehouse as a very sweet girl. She did what all of us parents dread.Met the wrong person and was dragged down by the wrong people. People who spotted her vulnerability and saw her as as a constant supply of money alcohol drugs and media attention.She has had her whole life threatened by lowlife opportunists.
She is not the only person.
The week following her wedding we were in a restaurant. Amys father was caringly encouraging his daughter to eat. Her husband however was far too interested in watching my very pretty but in appearance very young 13 year old daughter.
My heart goes out to Amys parents because Amy is not aware of anything.She has reached the stage of going through the motions.Nothing is real it is all magic thinking.My advice to them is look very hard at those purporting to care and never be afraid to put your feet down. when they have killed your daughter they will find someone else. They actually have already got that someone well prepared.It is not the Vulnerable drug users who are wrong in cases like this. Look at the users of life and flesh in the shadows.
