Amy Poehler and Will Arnett are divorcing after nine years of marriage.
US Weekly got an exclusive report of the comedy couple’s divorce, with an unnamed source claiming that the split was “very amicable” and a confirmation from their representatives. The couple wed in 2003 and has two children, Archie and Abel.
Poehler, co-founder of Upright Citizens Brigade and star of NBC’s Parks and Recreation, and Arnett, star of Arrested Development, have appeared in several projects together: Poehler ironically played Arnett’s wife in a memorable episode of Arrested Development and the duo portrayed a married couple in Blades of Glory.
The marriage was the first for Poehler. Arnett previously wed Penelope Ann Miller, which lead to divorce in 1995.
