Amoeba Music's Art Show/Auction

Even if the music business finally goes belly up and every other purveyor of recorded music goes the way of the dodo, it seems likely that West coast record collectors' paradise Amoeba Music will still be standing, an institution serving countless crate diggers in San Francisco, Berkeley, and Los Angeles. Now Amoeba is trying to give a little something back to its community by running its third annual art show and silent auction. In addition to featuring the artwork of 60-plus employees of Amoeba, the charity auction will include pieces donated by Devo frontman Mark Mothersbaugh,  creeptastic director David Lynch, and legendary underground graphic artist Gary Panter, among others. The show will be running through March 15, while the silent aucton cloases at 5pm PST on March 23. If you're interesting in participating in the process, you can find all the necessary info here.
