Sometime's I wish neither Helter Skelter nor 99 Problems had been released before the DM version since it's such an awesome remix. I'm guessing DM will do Revolver for this Jay-Z album. |

same here.. grey album is excellent stuff. places more of an emphasis on the lyrics, which are really great. not only did it unfortunately lead to a million remixes of the black album (princes purple and weezers blue come to mind), it also made people think doing the same thing with lots of other albums was a good idea. it is still not a good idea. dangermouse did it right though, and i dont see anyone else coming anymore close. so basically dangermouse is awesome. |
Gotta disagree with yr digs, man. Regardless of overblown hype, I still listen to the GREY ALBUM from time to time. I really enjoy it. In fact, I think a lot of the DM versions are really awesome. The only drawback to that record (for me) was that it led to a million bad remix BLACK ALBUMS.
