Amanda Palmer, Queens Of The Stone Age, And The Melvins And High On Fire All Forced To Cancel New Zealand Shows

Though the thoughts of the world are with those who were injured or lost loved ones in the Christchurch earthquake, the havoc wreaked on the New Zealand city did highlight the odd accumulation of artists currently on tour in the land of the Kiwi. Queens of the Stone Age, Amanda Palmer, High on Fire, and the Melvins were all forced to postpone and most likely cancel shows after being stranded in airports in the wake of the disaster. The only bands that were actually in Christchurch at the time of the quake however were the Melvins and High on Fire. They were unharmed in the incident. [The Daily Swarm]
