It's been three years since we previously heard from Alias, an always-experimenting producer from the anticon. realm. That's not to say he hasn't kept busy since releasing 2008's Resurgam. Last year, for example, he produced the entirety of B. Dolan's semi-apocalyptic, message-driven Fallen House, Sunken City. And in the year or so leading up to Resurgam's release, Alias and his wife moved back to his native Portland, Maine after living on the West Coast for several years. The couple also had a child, an event that spurred the concept of a musical rebirth for Alias on his new album, Fever Dream. According to a release, the album is set to feature a sound steeped heavily in beats and psychedelia.
