Odd Squad - Fadanuf Fa Erybody

Definitely one of the funniest - and dirtiest - hip hop records, Fadanuf Fa Erybody is the only record from Devin the Dude's old group Odd Squad. It's also one of the strongest records the south has to offer, including great beats and a party vibe that's classic Devin. Devin fans who haven't been able to get their hands on this will recognize one song: "Fa Sho" from Just Tryin Ta Live was originally found here. Though this record didn't have the same initial impact that the other four records that have been mentioned this week had, it has since grown in stature, particularly with the heightened presence of Devin and Houston in general in the hip hop consciousness. It's praise that is well-deserved. Below is "Coughee."

It would be easy to just do a whole column on out of print hip hop, because there is so much quality work that is unavailable, so keep an eye out for the less-traveled stuff, and get to know a record that time forgot.
