Out of Print Hip Hop WeekMain Source - Breaking Atoms
Along with PRT's catalogue, this is easily the biggest tragedy of OOP's deathgrip. Though it's been briefly in print over the past ten years a few times, Main Source's undisputably classic debut is currently going for 30-40 bucks used, instead of being distributed free to every baby's crib like it should be. Probably most famous for featuring Nas's first-ever verse on wax ("Live at the BBQ"), the real star here is Large Professor and his superior production. In fact, there are few records in hip hop history that can match the high quality of sonics here, whether it's on straightforward singles like "Lookin' At the Front Door" or more unusual cuts like "Large Professor." This record has a huge following in underground circles, but it's long overdue for a full fledged revival.

You don't wanna make a pitch that's wild...This album seems to go in and out of print. I didn't buy it on the first go round for whatever strange reason but picked it up in ... '97. absolute classic
