Via: Pop MattersPop Matters put up a nice interview with Akron/Family's Miles Seaton yesterday, where they spoke about the band's hectic schedule these past couple of years, and how wxcited they are about their new material that should be released early next year.
My favorite part of the whole interview though, was when they discussed the idea on the band burning itself out: ''"We played with Sufjan Stevens recently, and we were talking afterwards, and he said, '''Hey, I really liked your show ... but your schedule and what you guys do is not sustainable,''" Seaton recalls. ''"His point was that you can'''t play a two-hour set every night, freaking out, drooling all over the place, being insane and throwing yourself to the floor. Or at least you can only do it for so long while still being productive.''"
Personally, I'd love some photographic evidence that Sufjan knows anything about performing two-hour, drooling-and-freaking-out sets. Maybe that's just me though. You can read the rest of the interview by clicking on the link above.
