Akon says Michael Jackson will never tour again

It's good that there are some musicians like Akon who are willing to share their inside knowledge with the populace. Here I've been sitting on my hands for the last decade or so waiting for Michael Jackson to break out the sparkle jacket and patent leather shoes for a tour. While the gloved one is apparently content to just let the masses suffer, Akon offered this take on the lack of live Jackson:

"If you want quality concerts and quality performances [then the media] have to lay off people. Michael Jackson is the best performer ever and he can't even focus - you will never see another tour from him. [The media] plays a big role in that. It affects the people they're writing about. It's a lot to do with Michael Jackson not coming out and being open."

While most music fans would have blamed the fallout from the various criminal charges, Jackson's deteriorating physical appearance and generally bizarre behavior over the last twenty years, it's nice to know that the media is in fact responsible for his silence. Consider my subscription to People and Entertainment Weekly cancelled. [Angry Ape]

Yes, sadly it is true... The media today is full of crap! They seriously need to find something else to do other than to steep so low as to go name calling man who is really just an innocent man! When I see these people post comments like that sub human theabstract, I start to wonder how I cAn even live over here in the us. Life here just isn't what it use to be. All you see nowadays is people without common sense and the power to think! You see high school dropouts everywhere you go, adults with no life that also stoop so low as to refer to name calling! It makes me sick when I see people like this. I only wish people would see all the good MJ has done and to stop listening to the media that repeats the same thing over and over again brainwashing this generation of adolecents. I, as a fourteen year old fan can say that anyone who has ever believed the media to go online and search for all the trials and accusations that happened and also to use their common sense and to see what is real and what is not, what is right and what is wrong, and also to question ones self; how would I feel and react to the hate and lies of the global media? And answer thy question with your deepest truth, answer it with your heart, not your gut, your gut is what made you think the way you did all these years. Now I know what many of you are thinking, hey, this is a snobby little kid, what does he know? Well, I can tell you this, this generation of teens and kids have an abundance of knowledge built through hundreds of years of past experiences of our ancestors, yet many decide to be followers, and fall the same old paths and not make their own decicions. That is why humans today are not advancing and using the past as a new gate, a new door for new ideas and paths. They prefer to keep going through the same path and through the same traps and failures. That I'd why I ask of you who may come across this, please, stop this nonsense and act your age! You are not children anymore! Times have changed and so have our views of religion, orientation, race, society, and nearly everything else. So please, use your heart and mind, sit down and study the problem and then speak!
