Aimee Mann schedules Christmas shows
The thought of Aimee Mann heading out on a Christmas concert tour might have you saying "ho ho oh no!" after the career low-point that was her holiday album from last year, One More Drifter in the Snow. But maybe you can find some yuletide cheer in the fact that Mann won't be going it alone. On different stops along her coast-to-coast trek, some interesting friends will pop in to play with her. Ben Gibbard joins Mann's stage in L.A., while Nellie McKay will show up in Portland and Boston. Other guests will include Joe Henry, Josh Ritter, Grant Lee Phillips, Ben Lee, Chuck Prophet, members of the Decemberists, and comedian Paul F. Tompkins.
