Aimee Mann And Ice-T Straight Up E-Beefin' On Twitter

Over the weekend, perhaps the most interesting e-beef in the history of Twitter started up, pitting sometime rapper, sometime actor Ice-T against guitarist Aimee Mann.

It all started when Mann cracked wise about Ice-T being on Law and Order: SVU:

"Christ, there is no reason in the world anyone should ever have cast Ice-T in a television show," she Tweeted. Fair enough, I guess. Though Ice-T is consistently the least ridiculous actor on that show. Have you seen Richard Belzer? He seems like he's having a mental breakdown and is just hanging out on set when he hasn't actually been a member of the cast since 2005.

But Ice-T got straight gully on Mann dropping this rack of e-beef: "Hey @aimeemann stop worrying bout my acting bitch and worry about your WACK ass music. In the mean time..Eat a hot bowl of Dicks! Ice T." This response is hilarious for a number of reasons:

1. The phrase "acting bitch" makes me think of some poor dude who has to act for Ice-T whenever he wants.

2. The way he capitalizes wack, which implies he shouts wack on a regular basis. Dude is like 45. That's like your dad yelling wack all the time.

3. Dicks are generally, as far as I know, served on plates, not in bowls.

4. The way he signs a note asking a woman to eat a bowl of dicks respectfully by signing his name. He's on a Twitter page that already has his name, and pictures of himself in ponytails, and he signs it. Classic.

Unsurprisingly, given that Ice-T is serious, Mann backed off rather quickly, firing off apologetic Tweets the rest of the weekend. Go to Gawker to get a full rundown of the beef.

Who the hell is Aimee Mann?

Take some notes Andrew. Ice-T, Public Enemy, Black Fand RATM were out fighting Tipper Gore and the PMRC while you were still in your daddy's nutsack.
