After Leaving Epic Records, Death Grips Makes Their Own Label “Thirdworlds”

    Last October, Death Grips made a loud commotion when the band leaked their second album NO LOVE DEEP WEB.  This was a protest against Epic Records who would not release their sophomore album until 2013.  So—to make sure the group maintains a bit more control of the business side of their music—Death Grips has released their own label imprint entitled Thirdworlds.  But, this doesn’t mean that the band has completely severed their ties with the major label world.  Thirdworlds was created due to a “unique relationship” with Harvest/Capitol and they will be distributed by Caroline. 

    In addition, Death Grips has confirmed that they have managed to retain the rights to NO LOVE DEEP WEB.
