Via: CMJ1990s alternative staple, the Afghan Whigs, is set to have its legacy cemented in the time honored method of rock canonization: The greatest hits album. Unbreakable (A Retrospective) will see release May 1 via Rhino and will feature sixteen of the best tracks off the band's releases for Sub Pop and Elektra. Of course, every greatest hits package needs a hook to snag the fan that has it all, so Unbreakable will also feature two new tracks ("I'm A Soldier" and "Magazine") that were recorded by a reunited Afghan Whigs in 2006.
